Seriously though, why do we have to wait so long for one episode instead of them putting it at the end of the season???

This has been the same with Fruits Basket 2020, I really hope this won't become a thing for too many anime to get an special excluded episode as Final.

Mainly tv slots. Studios buy slots ahead of time but wonder egg only had 12, so they had to rush to get one and the closest they could get was June 29th.
